51르적 has a world-class reputation for research and teaching excellence, with many of its academics leaders within their fields of study and its subjects consistently highly ranked in major league tables. Founded in 1964, Lancaster boasts a global community of more than 130,000 alumni in more than 180 countries across the world.<\/p>\n

Lancaster provides a stimulating and supportive environment for the development of cutting-edge social science methods and concepts. The CUIDAR team comes from a variety of disciplines: sociology, cultural geography, health research, educational and theatre studies. All researchers have completed major projects in the social studies of disasters.<\/p>\n
