Research Overview

I am a 3rd year PhD Student in the Department of Psychology and Medical School at 51福利 and am currently funded on a 1+3 ESRC CASE studentship by NWSSDTP.

My research explores the intersection of auditory processing, cognitive function, and physical activity using neurophysiological and population-level data. My work includes investigating the effects of sports-related head impacts on auditory neural encoding, as well as analysing large-scale datasets to uncover relationships between hearing, cognition, and exercise. This interdisciplinary approach aims to advance understanding of how lifestyle and physiological factors affect brain and auditory health.
