Research Overview

My research question asks how deliberate non-motherhood (i.e. voluntary childlessness) is socially understood and evaluated in Palestinian society, and analyses the accounts of Palestinian women without children to examine what this reveals about its social legibility and legitimacy as a possible life trajectory
