An EU funded project under the EC’s Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) programme, that tries to facilitate local communities access to expert knowledge on non-structural seismic risk protection solutions. Scientific knowledge is turned into practical knowledge to be used by citizens and to engage communities in disaster risk reduction.

An EU funded project under the EC’s LIFE programme, the LifePrimes project aims to build resilient communities through their engagement and proactive participation in the operations of early warning and flood risk prevention measures. The project is conceived to respond to the European challenge in the area of adaptation management, in particular early warning integrated systems.
